The retailer's second Prime Day event of the year was expectedly filled with offers on Amazon devices and a whole lot more tech – and the good news is that some of those deals are still available. This high-storage capacity model of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus is over $60 off right now at Amazon. I'm not 100% sold on this one, as it has been as low as $149.99 in the past, but this is the best offer since July.

I took the leap to a Samsung S90C last year and the jump in picture quality is stunning, so I definitely want to shout out this record-low price for one of the best-reviewed OLED TVs here at TechRadar. When was the first Amazon Prime Day in 2024?

Contrary to the name, Amazon Prime Day actually ran for two days across July 16 and July 17 in 2024. Thousands of deals were available for 48-hours across Tuesday and Wednesday before the sale officially ended at 23:59 on July 17. However, some deals remain available on the days after the sale.

Was there a Prime Day in October 2024?

Amazon ran a second Prime Day-style event on October 8 – 9 in 2024 called Prime Big Deal Days. The retailer ran the event for the first time last year so it has brought it back a second time to kick off the huge end-of-year sales season.

As with the usual Amazon Prime Day sale, the majority fo the deals were only available to Amazon Prime members, so you needed to sign up to get access. This event was a preview of the retailer's big Amazon Black Friday sale, with exclusive record-low prices on some products.

How do I become an Amazon Prime member?

You need to be an Amazon Prime member to access all Prime Day deals. A subscription costs $14.99 per month or $139 for a year.

If you haven't signed up before then new subscribers can get a 30-day Amazon Prime free trial to buy the member-exclusive deals. The free trial also lets you try out all the other membership benefits, including free shipping, access to Prime Video and much more.
